The designers of this hotel seem to have implemented all the great ideas about what a hotel should be. As a well-traveled couple, we've never seen a suite with so many thoughtful touches. Lights and outlets were exactly where you thought they should be. What little noise we heard from other rooms was blissfully muffled. I appreciated the clothes steamer instead of the usual ironing board ordeal. The room's kitchen was well stocked with high quality cookware, flatware, silverware, and appliances (discreet dishwasher and the most quiet refrigerator ever). Most people don't live this well! The hallways were a joy to walk through with original art to enjoy on the way to the notable purified water stations. The common areas, customer service, and fellow clientele were all a cut above. The neighborhood is a pleasure with fantastic places to visit within walking distance. The hotel is an easy 10-minute walk to the $10 train that runs to the airport. The Catbird was such a flagship experience of our vacation that we found ourselves considering making Denver home. Note: we chose to spend our week in an ADA Suite for the simpler room setup.

They made fresh breakfast to order every morning, and served you at your table. Jen at the breakfast counter and Kelly the chef were very efficient and friendly and tried their best to accommodate us. Very pleased with the breakfast and service. Nancy who checked us in was super helpful, both with the online check-in process, and later, as we had selected a room that was inconvenient to our age and needs, in helping us move immediately to a different room with no extra charge. All was handled with a cheerful attitude and our needs and comfort in mind. We had an issue with the TV channels and the building engineer came and fixed it. The valets were always polite and had our car out in minutes every time.

The Catbird is a design hotel at the edge of the River North arts district. It offers big, comfortable rooms and a terrific breakfast. I especially liked that with my jetlag I could get up at 5 a.m. and find coffee waiting down in the lobby. The hot breakfast is creative, and they make an excellent latte (extra charge, but worth it). The staff was friendly, if a bit overworked. The neighborhood is interesting, with lots of great restaurants and shops. When we were there it was cold, which meant there weren't so many people on the streets, but I can imagine that it's very lively once the weather warms up. Great connections by train or bus to downtown.

Loved the decor in the lobby, self check-in, hallway decor, beautiful, efficient rooms with full amenities for the kitchen- even a dishwasher! Fridge, full freezer, wardrobe, all tucked away in beautiful storage space. Loved the lofted bed. Super comfy bed and bedding. Did the rooftop hot tubs in the morning with were excellent! The included breakfast was made to order and the right size portions. Yummy banana bread pudding French toast.

Very clean and modern. We loved having a good breakfast included each morning. Parking in the area around the hotel is free on the weekends. The rooms are very cool with lots of nice features, including a large projector and mini fridge. We felt safe both in the area and in the hotel. Walking distance to the train from the airport was great.
